In looking through it, I think it looks like a great resource for them. I appreciate you giving our school the opportunity to receive them. Thank you! - Laura Fritz (
The College Guides are great! Thanks so much for letting our school participate. I especially like that the advertisers are more specific to this region of the
I did receive the guides last week and they are wonderful. It brings everything together for them to look at and that means they actually look at it. It's hard on my end to make students be interested in the college search, but this makes it much easier. I think they are great and look forward to working with you in the future. Thanks. - Suzanne Moore (
I have received the College Guides and I have distributed them to students as well as to some faculty members in order to get some feedback. The response so far has been great from the students. As they have gotten copies and reviewed the materials, they have passed the word along for their friends to get copies of the booklet. I think it is very useful with some very beneficial information. I can appreciate the college planning calendar as well as the different to do lists because so many students need this information. The internet resources are a great way for students to also receive information. I am always looking for ways to get information to my students and this is definitely going to help that process. I am excited about the guides and I appreciate the opportunity to be involved. I look forward to future editions. - Bonita Flounnory (
We will put this link on our school web page. The books look great. We are going to wait to distribute them after Thanksgiving so that we can plan an advisement to go over them. Thanks for all of your help with this. We will be interested again next year. Thanks! - Amy Brock (
We got the Guides and they are great. The kids really seem to be interested in the information in them. Thanks for all the work you put into them. Put us on the list for next year. - Sheryl G. Carr (

We were very pleased with the magazines, both in quality and information provided! We will be having an Advisement to pass out the College Guides to our entire junior and senior class. Yes, we would love for you to mail the extra box. We definitely need the remainders for our student body in those two classes to each get one. We would also love an extra box to keep in our Counseling Department lobby for parents or newcomers to read while they wait or to pick up as a reference guide. - Jolie Kimmel (
Yes we received the College Guides. They look great. We will be handing them out in 11th and 12th grade advisement tomorrow. The remainder we will keep available in the Counseling suite. I have asked the advisors to get student feedback about the guide. I will let you know when I hear something. Thank you for including us in distribution of this free resource. - Kristin Spoon (
We have received them and they look great, I am in the process of disturbing to the teachers today and tomorrow but the teachers and students who have seen them have been very impressed. Thank you for including us in your distribution, we look forward to future publications. - JoAnne Brooks (
We received and my juniors and seniors have them! I have a couple of copies left for my office. I like them. - Peggy L. Wade (
We definitely received the magazines. I just began distributing them today. I'll give you some feedback as I hear from the seniors. I took a quick peak at them and from what I saw, they looked really good! Thanks so much. - Ellen C. Smith (
Thank you for sending us our free magazines "College Guide Follow Up." We distributed the magazines to our juniors and seniors. One of the pages inside the magazine that dealt with college planning throughout the year seemed very helpful and students seemed to focus a lot of attention particularly to this page. We have a daily advisement program and our teachers are able to take the time and discuss college options, future planning, etc. Thanks again for providing our school with this useful tool and hope other magazine issues will be published again in the future. - Angie Addington (
We received our guides on Friday and I reviewed it yesterday. As a counselor I really appreciate the Southeast College Directory, the phone numbers and email addresses of colleges that most of our students apply to is a valuable asset-- right at my fingertips. A couple of our students have commented that they like the magazine style, it makes them want to flip through the guide for information, as well as having access to the email addresses. We really appreciate that the guide is free. Thanks again. - Joan McNeil (
We got them! The front office sent them to the storage room and there they sat. Thanks for following up. First glance, they look great! - Karen M. Holton (
I received the College Guides today. I was just looking at one when I got your email. It looks great. I will add your link to my guidance website. - Rejeana Brooks (
We did receive the guides last week and have begun to distribute them to students. I liked several specific things about the guide: 1. It’s not too big, bulky, overwhelming; 2. The informational articles are brief and to the point (more likely to be read); 3. It is local, with an emphasis on GA and the southeast; 4. It reinforces what we are telling students; 5. The contact information is very helpful and convenient. We are currently upgrading our website and will certainly consider putting your link on it. Thank you so much! It’s a great product. - Celia Davis (

I got your contact info from Amy Brock at West Hall and wanted to inquire about getting them for our school. We have approx. 600 juniors and seniors. I saw the printout and it looks great. Please let me know if you need further information. - Stefanie Gibbs (Flowery
I took a sneek peak and it looks really good. I may pass it out to our Juniors rather than the Seniors. Thanks so much and I look forward to receiving the publications. – Julie Blackwell (
It looks great and includes so many helpful facts. I like that it includes popular colleges as well as some that students wouldn’t normally think of attending. I have had to create my own pamphlets in the past for the exact types of information you incorporated, so that will help me greatly as well! I can’t wait to see the “printed” version. My only complaint…Where is my alma mater,
It looks great! I think it is well designed. – Heather (

STUDENT COMMENT
I really like The College Guide. It gives a lot of information and it’s very useful. I read the whole magazine, even the pages with all the colleges and their address and phone numbers. I really find that useful, because as we talked about, I can call the Clark Atlanta admissions office and have them put me on their mailing list. One thing that I really loved about it was the inside scoop, but what disappointed me was that there was only one college inside scoop. It would have been better, I personally think, if there was more like maybe two or three other colleges. The one thing that I absolutely adore about this magazine is the College Planning Calendar. It is so useful. I’m actually going to use it to check off all the things that I have to do this year; it’s going to be a very busy year. I’ll be so glad once I get to college and get everything over with. I don’t think there’s anything that I would change about this article because it’s really amazing. It’s very helpful in choosing what college to go to and how to find information online about financial aid and scholarships, test preparation sites, and other things. I know that because of this magazine, I won’t have to worry about what to take with me when I go to college. I know that this is a magazine that I will keep with me to check off things until I get to college. One thing that I suggest the publisher do is to post a survey on where kids in

The magazine looks smashing from what I can tell. It is colorful and you have a good selection of high profile "real" colleges as advertisers. This is a plus. - Joe F. Head (
